Updating an Existing CITB ID Card
If you hold an existing CITB ID Card, click here to refresh/update your CITB ID Card. Please note that you will need your CITB ID Number and Date of Birth details to enter your profile, and then your Drivers Licence, Employer ABN and any Trade Licence Numbers to update your profile.
Apply for a NEW CITB ID Card
Before you apply for your CITB ID Card, please note the following conditions that deem your eligibility:
If you are an Apprentice:
- You will need to live in South Australia
- You will need to be undertaking training in any of the eligible vocations (click here to view the Eligibility Schedule)
- You will need your Contract of Training Number (COT)
- You will need your Employer's ABN
If you are a Construction Worker:
- You will need to live in South Australia
- You will need to work in the building and construction industry for a minimum of 80% of your time. Building and construction work is defined as the construction, erection, renovation, demolition or removal of a building, structure or civil works. It does NOT include maintenance, servicing or installation work conducted on existing buildings, structures or civil works.
- You will need a current Drivers Licence together with your or your Employer's ABN and/or Builders Licence Numbers available, together with all your personal details.
