Payment Funding Schedule

Please note that the following conditions apply prior to any Incentives being paid:

 

  • Both the Employer AND Apprentice need a CITB ID Number to make a claim
  • If the Apprentice is with a Group Training Organisation, the Host Employer is NOT eligible for the funding
  • The funding is only applicable for Apprentices who began on or after 1 July 2004
  • Only full time Apprenticeships attract the Support Funding
  • Employer incentives are only payable after the 12, 24, 36 and 48 month anniversary date and will be made to the Direct Indentured Employer
  • The CITB Policy and Conditions of Funding require that all claims are to be submitted within 30 days of the anniversary and/or Apprentice completion of the Training Program
  • Further, no claims can be processed for any Final Completion Claim where the completion date is more than 6 months old
  • Note: The CITB may vary funding from time to time as determined by the Board

Up to $1,400 over the four year Apprenticeship (with a maximum payment cap of $500 in any one claim)

 

 

The RTO only

 

Upon one submitted claim annually

 

Only one claim can be processed per year and only during the first three years of the Apprenticeship.  All claims MUST be submitted and processed by 30 June the following year

 

 

Progressive Completion

 

Up to $1,800 depending on the period being claimed

 

(Note: Electrical trades receive 50% of the funding ($900)

 

 

The Employer

 

Yearly, at the anniversary of the Contract of Training

 

The Employer must complete the Completions and On-Job Skills Funding Form (click here to download). Note you only need complete the one form for both a Progressive Completion and On-Job claim.

 

On-Job

 

Up to $1,800 depending on the period being claimed

 

(Note: Electrical trades receive 50% of the funding ($900)

 

 

The Employer

At the end of the Contract of Training

 

The Employer must complete the Completions and On-Job Skills Funding Form, (click here to download) together with providing the Contract of Training letter and Certificate supplied by the Government of South Australia.  Funding is processed separetely from the Progressive Completions.
