Building Information Modelling is a system of using 3D computer models that contains embedded information to improve the process of designing and constructing buildings and infrastructure.
This ‘Introduction to BIM’ course is a two day course that has been specifically designed in conjunction with industry to give the participant a basic understanding of the subject of Building Information Modelling.
This course begins by examining the theory of BIM (how it works and why the construction industry uses it) before moving onto hands on training in interpretive software (Navisworks) and digital layout technology (Trimble).
The course is designed for existing Construction Personnel (Project Managers, Project Engineers, Estimators, Foremen, Leading Hands) who require a basic knowledge of Building Information Modelling.
